This is an old tool bag made of leather and wood. And that stone is what they would sharpen their tools with.
This is some of the corn that they were grindingWe have been doing so much lately, I haven't had time to post. Well I guess I will post some pics of The Butte Creek Mill we went to last Friday. It was really neat to see, they said it was the last hydro-powered mill west of the Mississippi. And it was built in 1860. Well see ya later...

Welcome back. Good pictures. How about that; a store almost as old as me!
Great recap with the pictures Karissa. All I can say is that I am glad for electricity, ovens, washing machines, refrigerators, etc. that we have in this day and age...they really had to work back then to get things done. "Grin"
